TAPI Integration
With a TAPI integration, you can create an outgoing call directly from within Microsoft Outlook or any other TAPI compliant application.
Recommended Software
We recommend the use of
SIPTAPI
which is an free open source Microsoft TAPI provider that communicates via the standard SIP protocol.

Installation
Once you have downloaded the software, you will need to follow these instructions to install.
1. Copy the TAPI provider application to your windows folder
If you are running a 32-bit O/S then copy the file <zip file>\Debug\32bit\siptapi.tsp to your c:\windows\system32 directory
If you are running a 64-bit O/S then copy the file <zip file>\Debug\64bit\siptapi.tsp to your c:\windows\system32 directory
2. Install the TAPI provider
Open the Phone and modem options by clicking Start / Control Panel / Phone and Modem
Click 'Advanced'.
Click 'Add'.
Select 'SIPTAPI Service Provider 0.2.15' and click 'Add'.
Configuration
1. Open the configuration settings
Open the Phone and modem options by clicking Start / Control Panel / Phone and Modem
Select 'SIPTAPI Service Provider 0.2.15' and click 'Configure'.
2. Configure to your phone extension
SIP Domain: <jingl domain>.sip.jingl.com.au
SIP Outbound Proxy: <jingl domain>.sip.jingl.com.au
User: <your handset extension number>
Password: <your handset password>
Click 'OK'.
